I heart my husband

  

     After years of dating the good, the bad and the ugly, and searching for that special someone, I can say God has blessed me with the most amazing man.  "Skinny Hubby" planned a night out last night to celebrate Valentine's Day a little early.  He booked the sitter and told me to be ready by 5 and dressed for...the gym.  At first, I was a little bitter.  I have officially fallen off the wagon, my motivation is down and working out was the LAST thing that I wanted to do on a Saturday night of Valentine's Day weekend.  My husband insisted, we got in there and worked it out together.  We ran, we did push-ups, planks, squats, sit-ups and stretched on one of those awesome foam rollers.  It felt GOOD.  At the end of the hour I was glad that we had taken the time to get in there together and focus on feeling better.  That's not to say we didn't indulge.  We followed the workout with a few cocktails and some awesome Mexican fare, but the fact that my husband truly thought about my HEART that night was endearing.  He cares about me and my well-being and that date night said a lot.  We've both decided that it's time to re-evaluate where our time is spent and make our health a priority again.  It's something we can give to ourselves, each other and our kids.
