BLT's

     I went to a Weight Watchers meeting on Monday and sat amongst a room full of people who had lost weight and who were diligent about writing down what they ate. I, on the other hand, thought a lot  about doing it but just couldn't execute. It all seemed too complicated last week.  The people who were successful claimed they wrote down all the BLT's (Bites, Licks and Tastes).  With a house full of kids those BLT's definitely get me into trouble.  So I took the time to write everything down the last two days.  Kind of boring, but here goes.  (Oh, and I get 25 Points)

Tuesday:

Protein Shake with 5 Strawberries 2.5
Starbucks Tall Soy Latte   3
Tofu, Veggies with a soy based sauce   4
Garden Salad with tahini/avocado dressing  2
Iced Tea
Little piece of bread with little bit of butter 1
Waldorf Chicken Salad (WW recipe)   6
Acorn Squash  1
2 Glasses of red wine    4
3 Rice Dream Bites-Vanilla  1
Total:  24.5

Workout:  Did the Shape Magazine iphone app "Ab" workout
Elliptical 5 minutes
Side Punches
Heisman moves
Dumbbell Torso Twists
Speed Skater
Squat Thrusts
Bicycle Crunch
Jog/Run in place 5 minutes
Bike 10 minutes

Wednesday:

Jo-Sef Gluten Free Vanilla Animal Crackers 1.5
Chinese Tea 0
1/2 tsp peanut butter  .5
1/2 tsp jelly  .5
Waldorf Turkey Salad  6
Soy Latte  3
Organic Rigatoni Puttanesca with Veggie Meatballs  ( recipe from Vegetarian Times Mag.) 11
5 Rice Dream Bites-Vanilla   1.5
2 Bottomless glasses of red wine  4
Vegetarian Times (1-year)Total: 30.5  (oops!)

Workout:  30 minutes on the bike at the gym, various stretching and 100 sit-ups

My next weigh-in seems so far away.  This is a lot of work.  Hopefully the week will go by FAST!
